Eid Fithr Message 2021 : Focus on what you can do

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmathullahi Wabarakathuhu

Eid Fithr Message 2021 : Focus on what you can do

As Ramadan comes to a close, let us say Alhamdulillah for the blessings Allah has bestowed on us. We hope that this month has renewed our strength to embrace new challenges with dignity and patience as good Muslims.

With rising Covid-19 infections, we have to be responsible. Rather than focusing on what we can’t do, let us focus on what we can do.

A Muslim’s life is to be in the service of humanity. We can accomplish this by:

– Restricting visiting others.
– Following health guidelines.
– Helping those in need.

The Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sal) offers us many lessons on fulfilling our Eid duties. Even if you were unable to shop, or have no new clothes, wear the best you have.

On Eid day, spend it with your loved ones at home. Avoid visiting others. You may transmit the disease to them or get infected without being aware. The disease is airborne and the new variants are deadly. Remember, by limiting your movements, you help our nation get through this pandemic more easily.

Praying that Allah (swt) grants our duas in the last days of Ramadan and blesses us with a peaceful Eid – ul – Fitr.

Eid Mubarak!
