Relaxing Covid 19 restrictions imposed in Mosques.

To all trustees of Mosques

The Wakfs Board of Sri Lanka has decided to relax the Covid 19 restrictions imposed in Mosques.

Accordingly, the Trustees are permitted to keep the Mosques open full time as before.

Permission is also granted to keep the taps for ablution / other purposes and the toilets open for public. However, ablution tanks are to be kept closed.

All Health Authority and Wakfs Board Covid 19 guidelines and directives are be strictly followed. All permitted activities are to be carried out under the full supervision of the local PHI.
